Yellow cab,Uber,Lyft will charge you more

Generally, as a civilian, we have the tendency of wanting things cheap either it's a movies tickets, plane tickets etc. However, it doesn't work like this because we are not the one who is going to chose what should be cheap and what should be expensive.

Therefore, the New York State Government has passed a budget which includes a fee for the riders who rides Yellow Cab, Uber, Lyft.  the raised Fair from the riders would go into the 415 million dollars plan which is for repairing of the subways in the city.

 The Fees As the Daily New York Report " $2.75 for Uber, Lyft and similar services, $2.50 for taxis — will be used to raise an estimated $415 million for subway repairs. Carpool rides such as UberPool and Via will see a 75-cent increase."


Meanwhile, the subway system is really bad and it needs to be repaired and without taxing the public it is impossible. However, as a new yorker, we agree that if there is something wrong the government should step up and resolve the problem, which they are doing it, and we should be happy about it. so what if we pay a little more once the subway system is fixed then we will feel happy about it.

Though there are people in the world whose governments doesn't care about people instead of their pockets. People are paying taxes and the governemnt officials are stealing that money but still, the people are oblige to pay the taxes and they are not allowed to question the perpetrator. Meanwhile, we should be very proud and thankful for our public officials and this coutry which gave us everything.
