Cuny will be closed tommorow

The City University of  New York will be closed tomorrow 03/20/2018 because of a snowstorm which will be starting this morning from 7am until 5pm in the morning. However, it's really important for the people to stay home and avoid unnecessary drivings. The roads will be slippery outside because of the snow and it's pretty dangerous to drive in such conditions. therefore this afternoon the mayor de Blasio announced that public school will be closed for tomorrow.

In an article from new york time "An unyielding winter is about to dump yet another major snowfall on the New York region, with forecasters projecting more than a foot of snow just as the calendar ticks toward spring." which explain the idea of staying home instead of going to the schools and or colleges. therefore, most of the times it gets really hard to go to school or college. Snowfall is the major setback in these sort of conditions, which disrupt people daily life routines and even worse in some cases because people like us won't stay home and would want to drive a car which is dangerous if you look at the bright side of them when its cold outside with the temperature feels like -20 and you cant do anything about it.

Mayor said "“Everybody, get ready because we’ve got some very unpredictable weather about to hit us,” Mr. de Blasio warned."

 the weather in new york is unpredictable for the past 3-5 years.and because of those people from the city are in really big trouble relatively weather wise and it is a constant threat related to global warming people from across the states have faced a similar type of problems. similarly, back in December in Boston bomb cyclone hit the city with icy water throughout the city and people were trapped in their homes even they didn't have the chance to some people to get to home safely so they stayed where ever they were until the city authority came to rescue them.
  However, concerns are high up in the trees and world is changing and getting close to new types of innovations relating to clean energy. nowadays clean energy is the basic need for our health and environment in order to keep it safe we have to bring clean energy projects to our communities.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 11 to
15 inches are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut
and southeast New York.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Wednesday to 6 AM EDT Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult to
impossible, especially during the evening commute. Snow will
develop during the morning and become heavy by afternoon. Expect
significant reductions in visibility at times. A combination of
the heavy snow and wind gusts up to 35 mph could bring down
tree limbs and power lines, creating power outages.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. Check local Department of
