People from across the world have always wanted to go to Switzerland for a different reason. However, the main reason people usually go there is for tourism and keep their money in the banks. though, tourism invented by the people of England when they hike the Bernese Alps in the 19th century. After that, the British mountaineer founded an alpines club in London in 1857, because of this the Bernese Oberland remain the old and most coming tourist spot until today.
Therefore, Switzerland first organised holidays were offered to people back in the 19th century by Thomas Cook and Lunn Travels. later than people started to come from Europe at first then people from across the world started to coming here and stay in different hotels do their businesses and enjoy the tourist spot in the country.
Though tourism statistic organization was planned to put in charge in 1852 by the people of Switzerland to see where are the people coming from and hotels, hostels, to this amazing country and it was up and running, however, changes were made over time in 1934 the Statistic organization purpose was realized then and continued until 2003. Later in 2003, it merged with "Swiss tourism Figure", the total number of 4967 hotels and hostel was offering services and registered with the "swiss tourism figure".
overnight stays have done people from different countries but the statistic shows that Germany was up in lead.
