The park is situated on the border of Nevada and California, it is one of the hottest areas in the states and 282 feet below sea level. 90 % of the area is designated to wildlife, back in 1849, people from European decent looking for goldfields stuck here and they gave it the name death valley. even though one person from their group died here. People in the 19th and 20th-century mine gold and silver. later in 1920 the tourism boom here and several resorts were built here for the people.
the park was still an unknown area until 1933 when it was given a name death valley park However, it wasn't until 1994 when the government decided to consider it as a national park.
- Climate
The death valley park is considered to be one of the hottest and driest areas in the states, on July 10, 1913, the united state's Bureau of weather forecast record a highest of 56.7 degrees.
- Tourism
Major tourist spots are mines, railway and much more, people, from across the country visit there to relax and get educated regarding the hostile weather conditions and people who have stayed in this harsh conditions centuries ago.
